'Bali is Not for SALE' is an ongoing photo project by Barmen Simatupang about the development impact on water shortage in a tourist destination village, in Ubud, Bali. Balinese values on their belief in Dew Sri as the goddess who bless their lands and water. Water and lands are the realization of Dew Sri's blessings. Now many farmers leased their rice field land to investors to build villas, bungalows, restaurants, and shops. This villas, bungalows, and others took the water directly from the ground, for their daily uses and also to filled the swimming pool up.

Next, If this shifting rice field to villas, bungalows, restaurants, and shops will produce water crisis in the near future, how would the Balinese interpret their belief in Dewi Sri?
